WHEREAS, it further appears and the City Counci I affirmatively so finds and declares that no protest or other objection has been fi.led with or presented to the City Secretary, or the Mayor, or the City Cou nc ii, by tECnpercent in number of the qua I if i ed voters in said City; wh6se names appear in the last apprQved tax rolls as property tax payers, or by any other number of the ~ual ified voters of said City, requesting a referendum vote, or otherwise protesting, or objecting to the i~suance of said interest bearing time ~arrants in payment of said acreage; I THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Counci I of the City of San Marcos, Texas: That the City Counci I of the City of San Marcos, Texas, does hereby author i "ethe Mayor and the C i.ty Secretary to accept from the owners thereof a duly executed deed of conveyance to that certa i n tract or parce I of land lying and being situated in Hays County, Texas, being 3.22 acres of I and out of the T. J. Chambers Survey, and also being that identical real property described in and conveyed by deed dated Apri I 24, 1951, from Jack Perk i ns and Da isy Be II.e Perk i ns to Arm istead Mason Ramsay, and recorded in Vol. 149, pages 518.519, Hays County Deed Records, described by metes and bounds as follows: BEG INN ING at a stake i n thepre~entfence line .wh i ch bears S.450W. 342,0 feet from the most Northern corner of the San .Marcos Cemetery; THEN.CE S. 450 E.51 feet to an iron pipe for an east corner of the Jack Perkins prop- erty, same being a point in the Northwest line of the San Marcos Cemetery; THENCE S. 450 W .604. 0 feet with the I Northwest line of the Cemetery to a stake and corner post for corner; THENCE N. 450 w. 232.5 feet with the present fence to a stake for corner; THENCE N. 450 E. 604.0 feet to a stake for corner in the Southwest line of A.M. Ram- say Tract; THENCE, S. 450 E. 181.5 feet with the South- west line of the A.M. Ramsay Tract to the p I.ace of BEG INN I NG, as surveyed on the ground F ebruary7, 1951 by T.A. Bree"e, licensed surveyor.
