I I I L __ __ _ f/ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAN MARCQS, TEXAS, BY CHANG1NG A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS FROM ITS PRESENT ZONING AS "RI", SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "P2?,EDUCATIONAL; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I. That the following described piece of property, located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "RI", Single Fami Iy Dwelling D i str i ct, henceforth sha II be zoned "P2", Educational, such re-zoning to be effective as of the date hereof: A 24 acre tract in the J.M. Veramendi Survey #1 out of a 260.26 acre tract conveyed to John W. Nigliazzo and Charles E. Blake by Walter Feltner and Emma Feltner, August 6, 1964. This prop- erty is adjacent to Sunset Acres Subdivision. 2. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of San Marcos be amended to reflect the above change in zoning, such amendment to be accomplished as soon as is practicable. 3. That by reason of the fact that the City Counci I of the City of San Marcos, Texas considers the passage of this Ordinance necessary for the immed- iate preservation of public health, peace and welfare of said City, it is hereby declared an emergency measure, demanding that the rules requir- ing ordinances to be read on three separate days, and that no ordinance shal I become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage, be suspended, and that this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force immediately.
