<br />AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY
<br />ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
<br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, INTO SAID CITY
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the owners of a tract of land comprising 0.55 acre
<br />of land out of the T.J. Chambers League in Hays County,Texas,
<br />desire to have said tract annexed to the City of San Marcos; and,

<br />WHEREAS, said tract is not contiguous to the City Limits of
<br />San Marcos; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said tract fronts on Lyndon B. Johnson Drive, which
<br />connects with Cardi~.t Str~.~, the existing City Limits Line; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it will be of signa I advantage to the City of San Marcos
<br />~o annex said tract within its municipal limits:

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
<br />City of San Marcos, Texas, that a portion of Lyndon B. Johnson
<br />Drive, hereinafter described by metes and bounds, be, and the
<br />same hereby is, received as part of the City of San Marcos,
<br />and the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos are hereby
<br />extended so as to include said strip of land, and from henceforth
<br />the territory so received and annexed shal I be a part of the City
<br />of San Marcos, and shal I be bound by the acts and ordinances of
<br />the City, in accordance with law.

<br />Said strip of land, a portion of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive, IS
<br />described by metes and bounds as:

<br />BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of the Marvin A.
<br />Wiemers property, recorded in Vo I. 179, page 479, Hays
<br />County Ueed Records, said point also lying on the north
<br />r-- ci - l" line of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive;
<br />THENCE, S48029'E 280.0 ft. more or less to a point, said
<br />point a/so being the west corner of Lot #4, Col lege
<br />Heights Addition;
<br />THENCE, S45021'E 264.82 ft. to a point lying on the
<br />existing City Limits Line of the City of San Marcos;
<br />THENCE, S44039'W 60.0' to the south right-of way line
<br />of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive;
<br />THENCE, N45021 'W 264.82 ft. to a point;
<br />THENCE, N48029'W 280.0 ft. more or less to a point for
<br />corner;
<br />THENCE, N46030'E 60.0 ft. to point of BEGINNING.
