<br />I? ii' <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />We, the undersigned officers of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY: <br />That said City, through its City Council, has audited and <br />allowed claims incurred for general operating purposes, including <br />salaries, materials, supplies, and legal and other necessary general <br />operating expenses of said City, as authorized by ordinance passed <br />by the City Council on March 13, 1967. <br />That said claims are held and owned by The First National Bank <br />of San Marcos, Texas; that to evidence said indebtedness of said <br />City, as shown by said claims, there have been issued and delivered <br />to The First National Bank of San Marcos, Texas, CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />GENERAL PURPOSE ~ARRANTS, SERIES 1967, dated April 1, 1967, Numbers 1 <br />to 23, inclusive, aggregating $23,000, bearing 11_1/2% interest per <br />annum, and maturing on April 1st, $5,000 in each of the years 1968 <br />to 1970, inclusive, and $8,000 in 1971; the excess of $17.29, as shown <br />by said claims, having been carried forward to the next exchange of <br />claims for warrants. <br />That the City of San Marcos, Texas, has received full value <br />and consideration for said Warrants Number 1 to 23, inclusive. <br />That there is no litigation pending or threatened growing out <br />of the issuance of said warrants nor in any way affecting the titles <br />of the within named officers of said City to their respective offices. <br />WITNESS OUR HANDS and the seal of said City, this the ~ <br />day of June, 1967. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />TEXA~ <br /> <br />( SEAL) <br />
