THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS CITY OF SAN MARCOS I We, the undersigned officers of the City of San Marcos, Texas, DO HEREBY CERTIFY; That said City, through its City Council, has audited and allowed claims incurred for general operating purposes, including salaries, materials, supplies and legal and other necessary general operating expenses of said City, as authorized by ordinance passed by the City Council on March 13, 1967. That said claims are held and owned by The First National Bank of San Marcos, Texas; that to evidence said indebtedness of said City, as shown by said claims, there have been issued and delivered to The First National Bank of San Marcos, Texas, CITY OF SAN MARCOS GENERAL PURPOSE WARRANTS, SERIES 1967, dated April 1, 1967, Numbers 24 to 70, inclusive, aggregating $47,000, bearing 4-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing on April 1st, $2,000 in 1971, $10,000 in 1972, $15,000 in each of the years 1973 and 1974, and $5,000 in 1975; the excess of $66.39, as shown by said claims, having been carried for- ward to the next exchange of claims for warrants. I I That the City of San Marcos, Texas, has received full value and consideration for said Warrants Numbers 24 to 70, inclusive. That there is no litigation pending or threatened growing out of the issuance of said warrants nor in any way affecting the titles of the within named officers of said City to their respective offices.
