STATE OF TEXAS X COUNTY OF HAYS X WHEREAS, the owner of a tract of land in the Westover Addition in Hays County, Texas, desires to have said tract annexed to the City of San Marcos, Texas; and, I WHEREAS, said tract is not contiguous to the City Limits of San Marcos; and, WHEREAS, said tract fronts on Hazleton Street, which inter- sects Furman Street, which connects with Advance Street, the existing San Marcos City Limits; I, the undersigned owner of said tract hereby petition the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos to annex such portion of Furman Street as necessary to make said tract contiguous to the City Limits of the City of San Marcos, said strip of land being more particularly described as: BEGINNING at a point located on the Southeast corner of the intersection of Hazleton Street and Furman Street, said point also being the east corner of Lot 505, Blk. 34, Westover Add- ition; THENCE, S45oE, 631.0 ft. to a point lying on the south corner of Lot 588, Blk. 43, Westover Addition, said point also lying on the existing City Limits Line of the City of San Marcos, Texas; I THENCE, S44026'W, 50.0 ft. to the southeast corner of Lot 589, Blk. 42, Westover Addition; THENCE, N45oW, 631.0 ft. to a point, said point being the most northerly corner of Lot 504, Blk. 35, Westover Addition; THENCE, N45oE, 50.0 ft. to POINT OF BEGINNING.
