- / lf~' which ordinance, and its record, reference is here made and same made a part hereof for all pertinent purposes, is hereby ratified and confirmed. AND, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, that each and every term and provision of said quit- claim deed executed and delivered by the City of San Marcos to H. Y. Price Interprises, Inc., and being of record in Volume 218, pages 190-192, Hays ounty Deed Records, to which quitclaim, and its record, reference is here made and same made a part hereof for all pertinent purposes, is hereby rati- fied and confirmed. The public peace and welfare being endangered due to attacks now being made upon the validity of said ordinance and quitclaim deed, such attacks in part being based upon the inadvertencies above set out, therefore an emergency is apparent, requiring the provisions of the Charter of the City of San Marcos that ordinarily require ordinances to be read on three sev- eral days and that no ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage, be dispensed with; Ithus, this ordinance shall be effective following a single reading and pas- sage thereof by this body, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
