<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has provided facilities for travel <br />trailerists in City Park for many years; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of San Marcos feel honored that members of travel <br />trailer clubs from all areas of the Western Hemisphere and foreign lands <br />use these facilities; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos <br />that visitors be given a proper welcome; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is impossible for the Mayor and Members of the Council to per- <br />sonally greet members of said clubs; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Winter Logan are travel trailerists and longtime res- <br />idents who, in the opinion of the Mayor and Council, reflect the spirit of <br />hospitality for which San Marcos has become so well known: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, that <br /> <br />CATHERINE AND WINTER LOGAN <br /> <br />be appointed as their Official Representatives to greet all members of travel <br />trailer clubs visiting in City Park; and, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council extend a vote of appreciation to <br />Mr. and Mrs. Winter Logan for their willingness to accept responsibility for <br />acting as their representatives on these occasions. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of April, A.D., 1968. <br /> <br />~' .,7 <br />/-~.~ <br />Ellis Se0ur <br />Mayor <br /> <br />AT~EST /!:tJ~ <br />,L ')r"~ <br />&(~~LO\~~'.~ /(J.
