Worrell <br /> <br />Visitors: <br /> <br />James R. Cole, Bill Veidt <br /> <br />The Mayor .called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />James R. Cole of Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, the City's <br />consulting engineers, told the Council he had made a careful <br />analysis of the three lowest bids submitted for construction ot <br />the Waste Water Treatment Plant. He recommended that the bid <br />be awarded to the lowest bidder, Boswell Company of Bryan. He <br />explained that by deducting the first four of the alternates, <br />the low bid came to $419,598.00. The Mayor introduced a <br />Resolution accepting the bid. Councilman Dannelley moved <br />approval of the Resolution, and authorization for the Mayor to <br />sign all necessary documents. Dr. Craddock seconded the motion <br />and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Craddock, Dannelley, Flores, Pool, Serur, Smith, lavesky <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Resolution Passed and Approved. <br /> <br />Dr. Pool moved that Tobin Research, Inc. be employed by the <br />City to acquire right-of-way, easements, etc. needed for the <br />Water & Sewer Improvement Project, on the basis of the supplement <br />to the proposal presented by Tobin, September 23. Dr. Craddock <br />seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Craddock, Dannelley, Flores, Pool, Serur, Smith, lavesky <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Dr. Craddock moved that Arthur C. Troilo of San Antonio be <br />engaged for any legal work that might arise out of acquisition <br />of the Water & Sewer Project right-of-way and easements. <br />Councllman Dannelley seconded the motion and on roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Craddock, Oannelley, Flores, Pool, Serur, Smith, lavesky <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m. <br />
