Davis <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 3:DO p.m. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />James R. Cole of Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc., <br />presented the Water & Sewer Improvement Plan. Transparencies <br />of the areas of development were shown on the screen to <br />supplement explanation of the proposed water and sewer lines <br />as shown on a large aerial map. Mr. Cole said that the plan <br />conformed to the proposed plan as outlined at the time of the <br />bond issue election, except for a few minor details. Follow- <br />ing approval by the Council, the plan goes to the Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development and the State Health Depart- <br />ment, for final approval. <br />Mr. Dannelley moved approval of the Plan, as presented. <br />Dr. Craddock seconded the motion and on roll call, the follow- <br />~ng vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Craddock, Dannelley, Flores, Pool, Serur, <br />Smith, Zavesky <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Councilman Zavesky mentioned that the Law Enforcement <br />Banquet being sponsored by the Lions Club was being held on <br />February 24, in conflict with the regular meeting of the <br />Council. He said he felt the City should support the affair. <br />By common consent, it was agreed that Councilman Zavesky <br />should represent the City Council at the Banquet, February 24. <br /> <br />Councilman Dannelley suggested that Dr. David R. Tauch be <br />appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission, to fill the <br />vacancy created by the resignation of Curtis Briggs. The <br />Mayor said the appointment would be made at the next regular <br />meeting. <br />
