<br />EXHIBIT "A", PROPOSED ANNEXATION, 47.3 ACRES <br /> <br />(NOTE: This area includes some small tracts previously annexed, as indicated <br />on accompanying plat) <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a point located on the present City Limits Line, said point being <br />III the NE corner of Lot 3, Parke Addition, and the intersection of the south r.o.w. <br />line of Liveoak Street and the west r.O.W. line of Chestnut Street; <br /> <br />THENCE along the west r.o.w. line of Chestnut Street, in a northwesterly direction, <br /> <br />to the intersection with the north r.o.w. line of Holland Street for a point for <br /> <br />corner; <br /> <br />THENCE, along the north r.O.W. line of Holland in an easterly direction, passing <br />acros s an old county road and LBJ Dri ve, to a poi nt for corner, sa i d point being <br />140 feet from the east r.O.W. line of LBJ Drive; <br /> <br />THENCE in a southeasterly direction along and parallel to the east r.o.W. line of <br />LBJ Drive, a distance of 290 feet, more or less, to a point for corner; <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />THENCE in a westerly direction, 140 feet to a point for corner, said point also <br /> <br />lying on the east r.o.w. line of LBJ Drive; <br /> <br />THENCE, along the east r.o.w. line of LBJ Drive in a southeasterly direction to a <br />point on the existing city limits line, said point also being the northwest corner <br />of a tract of land which was annexed by the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, <br />May 22, 1967, said property belonging to Marvin A. Wiemars; <br /> <br />THENCE, North 46 degrees, 30' east, 183.89 feet to a point for corner continuing <br />a total distance of 450 feet more or less to a point for corner, said point being <br />the most northerly corner of a tract of land owned by ~saiah Bradley; <br /> <br />THENCE in a northwesterly direction 13.26 feet to a point for corner, said point <br />being the most westerly corner of a tract of land belonging to the Daisy McHenry <br />III Estate; <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />THENCE along the northwest property line of the tract owned by tne DaisY McHenry <br /> <br /> <br />Estate, 373.6 feet to a point for corner; <br /> <br />THENCE in a northwesterly direction 25.0 feet more or less <br /> <br />said point being the west property corner of 2.31 acre <br /> <br />to a point for corner, <br />tract of land owned <br /> <br />
