Mr. Bean said the <br />School District had agreed to accept their share of res- <br />ponsibility for proper drainage. He said the City was <br />constructing a catch-basin at the intersection of streets, <br />which would be completed as Soon as it was dry enough for <br />contractors to go back in. <br /> <br />Johnny Arredondo, recognized by the Mayor, asked about <br />plans for paving in Sunset Acres, specifically, Candle- <br />light Lane, where he lives. Mr. Bean said the paving <br />program approved by the Council called for maintaining <br />streets that were already paved. He said the work was <br />scheduled for this Summer. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Bean showed the plans of the Water & Sewer Improvement <br />Project and stated it was time to call for bids. Mr. <br />Dannelley moved that advertisement for bids be published, <br />with a bid opening date of 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4. <br />Dr. Craddock seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, <br /> <br />The City Manager announced that the meetihg with the State <br />Highway Commission had been set for 10:30 a.m., Monday, <br />Maye5.
