['I I [I County Surveyor EX 2-3455 EXHIB IT "B" FIElD NOTES OF A SURVEY OF 22.35 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE WILLIAM PETTUS 2 LEAGUE GRANT, CAIDWELL COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT 2170.08 ACRES OF LAND CONVEYED TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BY 21 VARIOUS DEEDS RECORDED IN CALDWELL COUNTY DEED RECORDS. BEGINNING at an iron stake set under fence on the South- east line of the Old San Antonio Nacodoches Road, now state HWy. # 21, for the North corner of the tract herein described, and being also on the Northwest line of that 1303.055 acre tract conveyed to the City of San Marcos by the United States of America by deed dated February 16, 1966 and recorded in Volume 313, Page 463, Caldwell County Deed Records, and from which beginning corner a concrete monument found at the inter- section of the Southeast line of the Old San Antonio Nacodoches Road, or State HWY. # 21, with the Southwest line of a County Road for the North corner of that tract of land formerly known as Camp Gary, San Marcos, Texas, and being also the North corner of that 1303.055 acre tract, said concrete monument being at or near the North corner of the William Pettus 2 Le~e Grant and the Weat corner of the Thomas yates Survey, and the- caldwell and Hays County line, bears N. 49043' E. 7022.41 feet; Th~NCE, leaving the Old San Antonio Nachdoches Road with a Southwest line of said 1303.055 acre tract, S. 54000' E. 289.75 feet to an iron stake set at angle point; ~rlENCE, continuing with a Southweai line of said 1303~055 acre tract, S. 48000' E. 205.04 feet to an ironnstake set fop a re-entrant COrner of the said 1303.055 aCTe tract and being also the East corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, with a Northwest line of said 1303.,055 acre tract, S. 50000' W. 1812.91 feet to an iron stake set for the South- east corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, with a North line of the said 1303.055 acre tract, S. 87000' W. 749.10 feet to an iron stake set under fence on the Southeast line of the Old San Antonio Nacodoches !'load fot the Weai corner of the tract herein described and a North corner of the said 1303.055 acre tract; THENCE, leaving the said 1303.055 acre tract with the Southeast line of the Old San Antonio Nacodoche~ Road as fenced and used upon the ground, N. 49010' E. 2313.01 feet to the place of beginning, containing 22.35 acres of land.
