<br />~~' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> <br />has determined that an exchange of certain real properties, herein- <br /> <br />II after described, with the United States of America would be in the <br /> <br />best interest of both parties; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the real property which the City wishes to convey <br /> <br />to the United States of America, although once having been used <br /> <br />for airport purposes, is no longer needed for such purposes, said <br /> <br />real property being the same 23.92 acre tract described by metes <br /> <br />and bounds in the attachment hereto labeled Exhibit "A"; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />1. That the United States of America be requested to <br /> <br />convey to the City of San Marcos that 22.35 acre and that 1.25 acre <br /> <br />II tracts of land, described by metes and bounds in the attachments <br /> <br />hereto labeled Exhibit "B" and Exhibit "C", in exchange for the <br /> <br />conveyance by the City of San Marcos to the United States of <br /> <br />America of that 23.92 acre tIact of land, described by metes and <br /> <br />bounds in said Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />2.
