<br />III <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for the owner, operator or an <br />employee of the owner or operator of a gasoline service station to <br />permit any person who is not a competent attendant, as that term is <br />defined in this ordinanc~, and who is not also the owner or opera- <br />tor or an employee of the owner or operator of said gasoline service <br />station, to dispense gasoline or. to use or manipulate any hose, <br />pump, pipe, nozzle, or other device for measuring, pumping or dis- <br />pensing gasoline on the premisesof a gasoline service station. <br />IV <br /> <br />It shall be'unlawful for any owner, operator or employee <br />of a gasoline service station to permit gasoline to be dispensed <br />at such gasoline service station at any time when a competent <br />attendant is not in the immediate presence of the dispensing opera- <br />tion. <br /> <br />v <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to use, or to permit <br /> <br />to be used, any device for the dispensing of gasoline at a gasoline <br /> <br />service station which device permits the dispensing of gasoline <br /> <br />when the hand of the operator is removed from the device, unless <br /> <br />such device will automatically shut off when the tank is filled, <br /> <br />and also when the nozzle falls from the filling neck of the tank, <br /> <br />and also when the vehicle is moved while the nozzle is still in the <br /> <br />tank. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />VI <br />The term "competent attendant". as used in this ordinance, <br />means a person who has received practical instruction in the use and <br />operation of gasoline measuring, pumping and dispensing devices, and <br />has had practical experience under the supervision of a competent <br />attendant in the use and operation thereof for a period of not less <br />than one full working day. <br />
