Further, even if your claim allows you to recover attorney's fees from the other side, <br />please keep in mind that you are responsible for paying all of this firm's fees in <br />accordance with this agreement. The court may not order the opposing party to <br />reimburse you for all of your attorney's fees, and the court may not order the <br />opposing party to pay any of your attorney's fees. You should not undertake this <br />litigation with the idea that you will be made whole and that you will recover your <br />attorney's fees from the opposing party. In fact, you should only undertake this <br />litigation assuming that you will not recover any attorney's fees or expenses from the <br />opposing party. <br /> <br />Texas Lawyer's Creed <br /> <br />10. The Supreme Court of Texas requires that all attorneys in Texas follow the Texas <br />Lawyer's Creed. Please review the attached Texas Lawyer's Creed, and if you have <br />any questions, we will be glad to discuss them with you. <br /> <br />Conflict of Interest <br /> <br />11. In representing you, we recognize that we may be disqualified from representing any <br />client in any matter related to our representation of you. We also recognize that we <br />may be disqualified from representing any client in any matter in which confidential <br />information concerning you and made available to us during our representation of <br />you becomes material or relevant to another matter or in which use or knowledge of <br />such information could be adverse to your interest. You agree that, except as stated <br />above, the firm shall be entitled to represent the interests of any party adverse to you <br />in litigation, business negotiations, or other legal matters involving other parties. <br /> <br />Termination of Representation <br /> <br />12. You may discharge us from this representation at any time. We will be free to <br />withdraw at any time and without cause, subject to reasonable notice under the <br />circumstances, and subject to approval by any court in which your matter may be <br />pending. We will be entitled to receive compensation from you for all services <br />rendered and all disbursements made, pursuant to the provisions of this agreement, <br />up to the time of withdrawal. Circumstances may arise that will require us to <br />withdraw from representation under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional <br />Conduct or other applicable professional standards. In such circumstances, as well as <br />the instances referred to above, we will cooperate in the transfer of the matter to <br />other counsel of your choice. <br /> <br />Document Retention <br /> <br />13. At the close of any matter, we store closed files in our offices until we forward them <br />to a storage facility for storage at our expense. We determine how long we will <br />
