Please
consider this our firm's agreement to the contract terms outlined in your letter. Specifically, we
would agee to, upon the expiration of our existing delinquent tax collection contract, enter into a
month to month service agreement. This ageement would begin July 18 and run on a month to
month basis after that date. We also discussed the "litigation wrap up"period and agreed that the
terms outlined in our existing contract would carry over to the month to month agreement. That
is, if the month to month contract is terminated at any point the Firm would have an additional
six months to reduce to judgment all suits filed before such date and shall be entitled to any
compensation from those suits.
By my signature below as a partner in the firm this letter agreement will operate to bind
the firm to the terms contained herein. It was a pleasure to visit with both you and Mr.
Cosentino, the City Attorney. Should either of you have any questions or comments please do
not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you in the coming weeks.
Very Truly Yours,
rr' ^,/~
7i/~~'
Douglas Steven Bird
Partner
•
