This contract covers and includes all of the said land <br />and all of the said improvements. <br />II. <br />The term of this contract is the calendar year, 1979, commencing <br />January 1, 1979 and terminating December 31, 1979. <br />III . <br />AQUARENA hereby agrees to assume responsibility for the <br />operation and maintenance of said Aquarena Springs Golf Course <br />as a Municipal Golf Course to be open to the public daily during <br />the terms of this contract at the following rates: <br />1. Greens fees - <br />Monday-Friday $2.50 <br />Saturday and Sunday $3.00 <br />2. Annual Membership - $100.00 <br />IV. <br />In consideration of AQUARENA operation of the Aquarena Springs <br />Golf Course as a Municipal Golf Course during the term of this <br />contract, CITY hereby agrees to pay to AQUARENA an amount equivalent <br />to one-half of the total annual ad valorem taxes on the above <br />described property or $2,556.46 computed as follows: <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS................ $1,698.88 <br />STATE AND COUNTy.................. $ 885.48 <br />SCHOOL ............................ $ 2 , 528.56 <br />$5,112.92 <br />CITY here now pays to AQUARENA the consideration in the amount of <br />$2,556.46 for the year 1979, the term of this contract and AQUARENA <br />hereby acknowledges the receipt and sufficiency of the payment <br />of all of said consideration. As additional consideration, CITY <br />hereby agrees to furnish City water to the golf course at no charge <br />during the term of this contract. <br />V. <br />AQUARENA hereby covenants to indemnify, save, hold and keep <br />harmless, the CITY of and from any loss, cost, damage, cause of <br />action, expense or liability growing out of or arising from any <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />
