One new controller <br />and effect coordination also include <br />advance warning signal for Hutchison <br />and Hoore. <br /> <br />I The following projects were also proposed for this program. However due the <br /> <br />cr~teria of the program these projects will be approached by other means. <br /> <br />On System funding <br />same as above. <br /> <br />(1.) The widening of Ranch Road 12 at Franklin Drive, Bishop Street and North <br /> <br />LBJ Drive. <br /> <br />These locations do not have a sufficient number of accidents to warrant funding <br /> <br />under the Federal Aid Safety Program. However, a request will be made to the Department <br /> <br />of Highways and Public Transportation as to the possibility of these projects. <br /> <br />(2.) Sessoms Drive and Pecan. Due to the lack of a sufficient number of accidents <br /> <br />this project will not warrant funding. <br /> <br />(3.) Widening of Bugg Lane at Hopkins to provide a continuous right turn lane. <br /> <br />This project is not warranted under the criteria of this program. However the project <br /> <br />can be accomplished by City Forces. <br /> <br />I (4) Sessoms Drive and University Drive: <br /> <br />artment for the installation of a protected <br /> <br />A request has been made to the Highway <br /> <br />left turn signal at this location, <br /> <br />(5.) Left turn lanes for Hopkins and C .M. Allen -- Hopkins and Edward Gary. <br /> <br />These projects are not warranted under this program. However a request can be made <br /> <br />to the highway Department. It should be noted that a left turn lane at Hopkins and <br /> <br />Ed"ard Gary will necessate the elimination of parking along Hopkins ,bet"een Edward <br /> <br />Gary and LBJ Drive. <br /> <br />(continued) <br />
