I I I 170 I RESOLUTION NO. 1979-4-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THAT TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COUNTY AND RURAL SERVICES CONTRACT REQUIRED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION WHICH WAS A CONDITION FOR DISBURSEMENT OF GRANT FUNDS UNDER EDA PROJECT NO. 08-11-01979.40, SCHEIB MH/MR CENTER; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND FILE SAME FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY IN THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Community Affairs has requested amendment of the original County and rural services contract as identified above; and, WHEREAS, said amendment shall not reduce the $100,000 grant from the Economic Development Administration and Texas Department of Community Affairs; and, WHEREAS, said amendment will delete Part 2 of the Contract in its entirety and serve to qualify $13,189 of actual construction cost as an eligible expense; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the amendment to the County and rural services contrac~ which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and is hereby approved :'t PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said amendment for and on behalf of the City of San Marcos. PART 3. That the Mayor be, and is hereby, authorized to file same in the Deed Records of Hays County. PART 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
