<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1979-1l-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 8, 1979 WHICH <br />ORDERED THE REGULAR CITY ELECTION TO BE <br />HELD APRIL 7, 1979 BY PROVIDING FOR THE <br />APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION OFFICIALS; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Resolution was adopted on January 8, 1979 which <br />ordered that the Regular City Election for election of City <br />officers be held Saturday, April 7, 1979; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, when the aforementioned Resolution was adopted all <br />persons had not been selected to serve as election officials; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed <br />officers for said election: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct II, with Mrs. Elida Mendez as Presiding <br />Judge and Mrs. Nell Burleson as Alternate Presiding Judge, and <br />said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to <br />assist her which shall not exceed two cLerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 12, with Mr. Joe Gonzales as Presiding <br />Judge, and Mrs. Herminia Flores as Alternate Presiding Judge, <br />and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to <br />assist him which shall not exceed two clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 13, with Mrs. Rose Brooks as Presiding <br />Judge and Mrs. Frances Ybarra as Alternate Presiding Judge, <br />and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks <br />to assist her which shall not exceed three clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct ZD, with Mrs. Margie Villalpando as <br />Presiding Judge and Mrs. Elizabeth Champagne as Alternate <br />Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the <br />necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four <br />clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 30, with Mrs. Johnnie Armstead as Presiding <br />Judge and Mrs. Helen Allen as Alternate Presiding Judge, and <br />said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist <br />her which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 33 and for Absentee Voting, with Mrs. Irene <br />Trinidad as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Robbie Finnie as Alternate <br />Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the <br />necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 34, with Mrs. Mary Louise Thornton as <br />Presiding Judge and Mr. Aart Millecam as Alternate Presiding <br />Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary <br />clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 36, with Mrs. Susan Jarrett as Presiding <br />Judge and Mrs. Ofelia Vasquez as Alternate Presiding Judge, <br />and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to <br />assist her which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 44, with Mr. Charles Pursley as Presiding <br />Judge and Mr. Cecil Walston as Alternate Presiding Judge, and <br />said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to <br />assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct 45, with Mrs. Mattie Waldrip as Presiding <br />Judge and Mrs. Clara Storey as Alternate Presiding Judge, and <br />said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to <br />assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. <br />
