<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1979-19-R <br /> <br />59 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1979- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A <br />LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS AND THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD <br />PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN <br />(WIC); AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />SAID LEASE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Special Supplemental Food Program for <br />Women, Infants and Children (WIC) of the United States <br />Department of Agriculture has experienced an urgent need <br />for facilities in which to conduct its program; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas indicated its desire to provide facilities for WIC <br />when it unanimously passed on February 26, 1979 a motion <br />to lease a City-owned structure located at 401 Jackman in <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas to WIC; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part I. <br /> <br />That the lease agreement between the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas and the Special Supplemental <br />Food Program for Women, Infants and Children <br />(WIC) for the structure located at 401 Jackman <br />in the City of San Marcos, Texas, which is <br />attached hereto and for all intents and purposes <br />made a part hereof, be, and is, hereby, approved. <br /> <br />Part 2. <br /> <br />That Mayor Robert L.
