<br />was duly elected Council Member Place 4 at said election and <br />said above named parties are hereby declared duly elected to <br />said respective offices, subject to the taking of their oaths, <br />and that Berry R. James and Fred Guerra would be candidates <br />for Place 6 in a run-off election, said run-off election to <br />be held on May 5, 1979, <br /> <br />IT IS FURTHER FOUND by the City Council that a majority <br />of the legally qualified voters voting at said above mentioned <br />election held on the 7th day of April, 1979, voted For <br />Proposition Number One as set forth in the Order calling said <br />election, and said proposition is hereby declared to have <br />passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters voting <br />in said election voted Against Proposition Number Two as set <br />forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared to <br />have failed, ,that a majority of the 'legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Three as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed; that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Four as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Five as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number six as set <br />forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared to <br />have passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Seven as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Eight as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Nine as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed; that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Ten as set <br />forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared to <br />have passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Eleven as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed, that a majority of the legally qualified voters <br />voting in said election voted For Proposition Number Twelve as <br />set forth in the Order, and said proposition is hereby declared <br />to have passed. Having duly passed, Propositions Number One, <br />Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven, and <br />Twelve are hereby adopted and declared to be a part of the <br />Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />IT IS FURTHER FOUND AND DETERMINED that in accordance with <br />the Order of this governing body the Secretary posted notice of <br />this meeting on the bulletin board located in City Hall, a place <br />convenient to the public, and said notice having been posted and <br />remaining posted continuously for at least three days preceding <br />the date of this meeting.
