<br />I <br /> <br />87 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1979-28-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING <br />POLLING PLACES FOR THE SPECIAL RUN-OFF <br />ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON THE <br />5TH DAY OF MAY, 1979, AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Election Order was adopted on April 9, 1979 which <br />provided for a Special Run-Off Election to be held on May 5, 1979 <br />to elect a Council Member for Place Number 6: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are eleven (11) precincts within the City of San <br />Marcos, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That the Special Run-Off Election to be held in said <br />City on the 5th day of May, 1979 shall be held at the following <br />locations: <br /> <br />In Precinct No. 11 at Dunbar Center, <br />In Precinct No. 12 at Guadalupe Hall, <br />In Precinct No. 13 at San Marcos High School: <br />In Precinct No. 20 at Bugg Lane Fire Station, <br />In Precinct No. 30 at Crockett School, <br />In Precinct No. 33 at the Public Library, <br />In Precinct No. 34 at Holland Street Fire Station, <br />In Precinct No. 36 at the American Lutheran Church, <br />In Precinct No. 44 at Woods Homes Auditorium, <br />In Precinct No. 45 at the San Marcos Public Safety <br /> Department, and, <br />In Precinct No. 46 at Travis School. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Part 2. That the polls at each of the above designated polling <br />places shall be open from 7:00 o'clock A. M. to 7:00 o'clock P. M. <br />on said Election Day. <br /> <br />Part 3.
