I I .~. I 109 RESOLUTION NO. 1979-36-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. OF AUSTIN, TEXAS, FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE EXPANSION, MODIFICATIONS OR OTHER IMPROVEMENTS TO THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS AND THE WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, desires to have improvements made to the wastewater treatment plants and the wastewater collection sy~tem for the City; and, WHEREAS, Freese and Nichols, Inc. of Austin, Texas, Registered Professional Engineers, have been selected as the engineering firm to provide professional services in connection with these improvements; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the contract between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Freese and Nichols, Inc. for engineering services in connection with the expansion, modifications or other improve- ments to the wastewater treatment plants and the wastewater COllection systems for said City, a copy of said contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and is hereby, in all things approved. PART 2. That the City Manager, Mr. Royal Dunlap, or his successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of San Marcos. PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage. ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1979. 7r'" 0 11~ John A.
