<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1979-43-R <br /> <br />137 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING <br />ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPLETION OF REPAIRS <br />TO THE LIBRARY ROOF LOCATED AT 310 WEST <br />HUTCHISON STREET IN SAID CITY; AUTHORIZ- <br />ING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION; <br />AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted <br />with A A A Roofing Company for the construction of repairs <br />to the library roof located at 310 West Hutchison in <br />San Marcos, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of these library roof repairs <br />was completed on June 1, 1979,{. and, <br />at a total cost of $15,581.00 <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has determined <br />that the contractual provisions for construction of said <br />repairs had been met by A A A Roofing Company on that date; <br />and, <br /> <br />amendme) <br />adopted I <br />6/4/197' <br /> <br />d/--' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Director of Public Works recommends that <br />the City Council accept the repairs to the library roof <br />effective on the first day of June, 1979, and authorize final <br />payment to A A A Roofing Company in the amount of One Hundred <br />Fifty-Five Dollars ($155.00); and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, A.,'A A ,Roofing Company requests final payment <br />for the completion of the library roof repairs; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the work performed by A A A Roofing Company <br />in constructing repairs to the roof of the San Marcos Public <br />Library located at 310 West Hutchison Street in San Marcos Texas <br />be, and is hereby, accepted as being complete effective on the <br />first day of June, 1979, pursuant to the terms of the contract <br />for said construction. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized <br />to make the final payment to A A A Roofing Company for said <br />construction in the amount of One Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars <br />($155.00) . <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
