The OWNER acknowledges additional printing costs may be required by the OWNER over and above the stated basic number of plans and specifications and to bear all costs incidental to compliance I with the requirements of this section. I SECTION V - PAYMENTS TO THE ENGINEER The OWNER agrees to,pay the ENGINEER for the services rendered in the following manner: BASIC SERVICES - The basic services shall he paid for on the basis of a percentage of construction cost of the project. The percentage will be taken from the Standard TSPE-ASCE 1971 Curve based on the lowest reliable acceptable bid. 1. For the purpose of preliminary engineering fee, the payment will be based on an estimated cost approved by the OWNER to a 15 percent of the engineering fee. 2. Upon taking bids and establishing a bona fide low bidder I for awarding contractural documents, the ENGINEER can submit 75 percent of the engineering fee. 3. Upon completion of construction, the ENGINEER shall submit the remaining statement of 10 percent of the engineering fee and upon approval by the OWNER. ADDITIONAL SERVICES - Payment for additional services for assistiJ and rendering professional engineering work as described in Section II and as the OWNER may direct, shall be paid on a monthly basis as the work is per~ormed and at the rates that follow: Principal - S.
