11 RESOLUTION 56 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPLETION OF THE CRAWFORD WATERSPHEROID PROJECT; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with Stratford Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the Crawford Waterspheriod Project: and, WHEREAS, the construction of this project is now complete and the contractual provisions for said construction have been met; and, WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends that the City Council accept the construction as being complete on this date and authorize final payment to Stratford Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $6,804.50; and, WHEREAS, Stratford Construction Company, Inc. requests final payment for the completion of said construction; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the work performed by the Stratford Construction Company, Inc. in constructing the Crawford Waterspheriod Project be, and is hereby, accepted as being complete as of this date, pursuant to the terms of the construction contract for said project. I Section 2. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized to make the final payment to the Stratford Construction Company, Inc. for said construction in the amount of six thousand eight hundred four dollars and fifty cents ($6,804.50). Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
