I I I 115 ORDINANCE NO. 50 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUN:IL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMEND:rn:; SEX:TION 12-17, ENTITLED "DISPOSAL CHARGES, SANITARY LANDFILL," OF CHAPTER 12, ENTITLED "GARBAGE AND TRASH" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, BY ESTABLISHING A DISPOSAL CHARGE OF $2.00 PER CUBIC YARl)::' FOR EDUCATIONIIL INSTI- 'lJJTIONS ENGI\.GED IN THE REMJVAL OF GI\RBI\GE FROM THEIR CMN PREMISES LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AND DE::LI\RING AND EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS : SOCTION 1. That Section 12-17 entitled "Disposal Charges, sanitary landfill," of Chapter 12, entitled "Garbage and Trash" be, and is hereby, amended to read as follows: Sec. 12-17. Disposal charges, sanitary landfill. The following charges shall govern the disposing of refuse at the City of San Marcos sanitary landfill: 1/2 ton truck 1 ton truck 1 1/2 ton truck 2 ton truck $1. 00 $3.00 $5.00 $7.00 $2.00 $4.00 $9.00 TwCJ,.wheeltrailers Four wheel trailers Above 2 ton truck For any vehicle smaller than 1/2 ton pickup there will be a minimum charge of fifty cents ($.50). Carnercial refuse haulers $3.00 per cubic yard Educational Institutions Engaged in the Ranoval of Garbage from their own premises located within the city limits $2.00 per cubic yard SECTION 2. That the importance of this ordinance creates an emergency and an :imperative public purpose necessary that the provisions of the City Charter requiring that ordinances shall be read on three several days be, and is hereby, dispensed with.
