OF AUSTIN, TEXAS, FOR <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED FOR THE <br />ADDITION OF ARMSTRONG STREEr AND ALABl\MA SI'REEI' <br />TO THE CENI'RE STREET ROCONSI'RUCTION PRaTICl', <br />AND THE ROOSElTELT SI'REErjPAT'IDN STREEr PRaTICl'S, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXEalTE SAID AGREEMENI' <br />ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY AND DIDJ\RING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, selected <br />S.A. Garza Engineers, Inc. of Austin, Texas, on April 9, 1979, to provide <br />engineering services in connection with the project tenned "The Centre <br />Street Reconstruction Project And The Roosevelt Street/patton Street Projects"; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council approved a contract between S.A. Garza Engineers, <br />Inc. of Austin, Texas and said City on June 4, 1979, for the provision of said <br />services; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council wishes to add Alab3ma Street and Annstrong <br />Street as locations for which plans and specifications for paving inprove- <br />rrents are to be prepared; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PARI' 1. That the Supplemental Engineer Agreement between .the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, and S.A. Garza Engineers, Inc. for engineering services <br />in connection with paving improvements to be made to Armstrong Street and <br />Alabama Street in said City, a copy of said agreement being attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and is hereby, in <br />all things approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, John A. Hansen, <br />be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said agreerrent on behalf of said <br />City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
