<br />j-I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1978-1-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT <br />WITH EMERSON-FEHR, ARCHITECTS AND PLANNERS, <br />FOR THE DESIGN OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SAN <br />MARCOS LIBRARY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos has set aside funds <br />from Year III of the Community Development Block Grant for renovation <br />and improvement of the San Marcos Central Library; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to enter into a contractual <br />arrangement with the firm of Emerson-Fehr, Architects and Planners, <br />for the design of the improvements to the library; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That the contract, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", between <br />the architectural firm of Emerson-Fehr and the City of San Marcos for <br />the design work in connection with renovation of and improvements to <br />the San Marcos Central Library be, and is hereby, approved. <br /> <br />Part 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Frank T. Arredondo, <br />be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of <br />the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />Part 3.
