RESOLUTION NO. 1978-3-R A RESOWTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF A & A CONS'IRUCTION COMPANY AS THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BID SUEMI'ITED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, APPROVING A CONI'RACT WITH A & A CONS'IRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE CONS'IRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID CON- TRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. I WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to enter into an agr'eement for the construction of curb and gutter during the calendar year 1978 at locations and in quantities specified by the City; and, WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos advertised for bids for the con=ete curb and gutter work in the Daily Record, a newspaper of general circulation in the City, on December 4 and December 11, 1977; and, WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bid opened on December 20, 1977 was submitted by A & A Construction Company; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Part 1. That the bid of A & A Construction Company of $3.00 per linear foot for concrete curb and gutter to be constructed during the calendar year 1978, be, and is hereby, accepted as the lowest responsible bid. Part 2. That the contract with A & A Construction Company for the construction of said curb and gutter, l::a"ttaohedshereto as Exhibit "A", be, and is hereby, approved. Part 3. That the Mayor, Frank T. ArTedondo, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of San Marcos. I Part 4.
