Page Three <br />Report on Information Supplied to the Water Rate Consultants <br />9. Enlarged Force Main to Treatment Plant (1983) - $213,000 <br />( * - Projects already funded and underway - 1978) <br />( ** $100,000 has already been funded for a portion of this <br />process) <br />Total Sewer Improvements $ 4,314,000 <br />Sewer Improvements Unfunded 3,953,000 <br />Probably Funds Needed Based <br />upon available grants 1,000,000 <br />Water System <br />1. Year 1979 - Post Road Water Main: $390,000 <br />The Post Road Water Main would provide a third source <br />of supply across the San Marcos River to the eastern <br />part of the city. In addition the main would provide a <br />means of connecting future well supply and/or storage into <br />the system. The project would consist of 12,000 feet of <br />twelve inch main, beginning at C.M. Allen Parkway and <br />Hutchison Street and ending in the vicinity of the proposed <br />industrial park between IH 35 and Post Road. <br />2. Year 1980 - N.E. Well Supply: $370,000 <br />3. Year 1980 - Phase I S.E. Loop: 363,000 <br />Total Water Year 1980: 733,000 <br />89b <br />The above listed projects would provide well supply mentioned <br />in item number 1 and a loop to provide better service to the <br />eastern section of the city and Gary Job Corps. This would <br />also provide a source of supply to the San Marcos East <br />Industrial Park for future use. The project would consist <br />of a well supply and loop beginning in the northeast section <br />of the city and connecting to (1) Post Road Water Main <br />and (2) ten inch water main to Gary Job Corps. <br /> <br />1 <br />4. Year 1981 - West Well Supply & S.W. Loop: $593,000 <br />With the construction of the storage and loop on Redwood <br />Road the above proposed project would complete a necessary <br />loop and supply to the west, southwest areas of the city. <br />The existing Thermon Industrial development and other <br />industries located in the area would receive beneficial <br />increases in supply and pressure. The project would consist <br />of a well supply and loop to connect to existing facilities <br />at IH 35 and Redwood Road. <br />
