163 RESOLUTION 1978-48-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, RATIFYING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MENTAL HEALTH- MENTAL RETARDATION SERVICE CENTER AND RELATED ITEMS. I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, has previously allocated $125,000 from the Community Development Program and $7,500 from Revenue Sharing Entitlement #9 towards the construction of a mental health-mental retardation service facility; and WHEREAS, the Council has also previously approved a contract with Lamar Constructors for construction of the facility; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Part 1. That the contract between said City and Lamar Constructors in the amount of $229,361 previously approved by motion of the Council on May 15, 1978, be, and is hereby, ratified contingent upon the approval of construction funds in the amount of $80,000 from the Economic Development Administration, $21,275 from the Texas Department of Community Affairs, and $4,000 from Hays CountyCornmissioners. Part 2. That a change order in the amount of $11,588 as proposed by the architects for the project be, and is hereby, in all things approved. Part 3. That the City agrees to provide all labor and equipment for the sitework (excluding the area covered by the building), using materials to be provided by the Contractor. I Part 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council. ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, 1978. ~~ Robert L.
