I I I 175 RESOLUTION 1978-52-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPLETION OF SLUDGE DRYING BEDS AT THE CONTACT STABILIZATION PLANT IN SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with Du-Mor Enterprises for the construction of sludge drying beds at the contact stabilization plant in San Marcos, Texas; and WHEREAS, the construction of these sludge drying beds was completed on June 6, 1978; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City of San Marcos recommends that the City Council accept the sludge drying beds for use by the City effective on the 6th day of June, 1978 and authorize final payment to Du-Mor Enterprises in the amount of $31,980.25; and WHEREAS, Du-Mor Enterprises requests final payment for com- pletion of the sludge drying beds; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. TEXAS: Section 1: That the work performed by Du-Mor Enterprises in constructing sludge drying beds at the contact stabilization plant in San Marcos, Texas, be, and is hereby, accepted as being complete effective on the 6th day of June, 1978 pursuant to the terms of the contract for said construction. Section 2: That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized to make the final payment to Du-Mor Enterprises for said construction in the amount of $31,980.52. Section 3: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage. ADOPTED this 12th day of June, 1978. c;?~L--- Robert L.
