<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />would eliminate the haphazard approach to enforcing the <br />existing ordinance. <br /> <br />In summary, there are four (4) alternatives to be <br />considered. They are: (1) Replace the ordinance with a <br />requirement that all mobile homes locate in mobile home <br />parks and utilize a floating zone to locate the parks; (2) <br />Replace the ordinance with a floating zone to locate mobile <br />home parks, yet still allow mobile homes to locate in R-l <br />districts under stricter requirements; (3) Modify the <br />existing ordinance by making the application process an <br />administrative function and by establishing a Board of <br />Appeals; and (4) Eliminate the ordinance altogether with no <br />replacement. <br /> <br />In conclusion, staff would like to point out that these <br />are simply suggestions. The alternatives presented are not <br />the only choices available. They can be combined, modified, <br />or taken as they are presented. It is now up to the City <br />Council to provide the direction for staff to follow. <br />
