I I I 58 RESOLUTION NO. 1978-65-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A DEED OF PRCPERTY TO THE CITY FROM SCHEIB OPPORTUNITY CENTER, INC. IN ORDER TO ENABLE THE CITY TO CONSTRUCT A BUILDING ON SAID PROPERTY WHICH IS TO BE LEASED TO SCHEIB OPPORTUNITY CENTER, INC. ON A LONG-TE~1 BASIS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A MENTAL HEALTH-MENTAL RETARDATION CENTER IN SAN MARCOS: AND APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO SAID LEASE WHICH WAS APPROVED ON JULY 10, 1978 WHEREAS, Scheib Opportunity Center, Inc. has agreed to deed certain property to the City for use as a location for a City building to be leased to Scheib for operation as a Mental Health-Mental Retardation Center on a long-term basis and said property is more precisely described as follows: All of Lots Number Three Hundred Sixteen (316), Three Hundred Seventeen (317), Three Hundred Eighteen (318), Three Hundred Nineteen (319), Three Hundred Twenty (320), Three Hundred Twenty- One (321), Three Hundred Eighty-One (381), Three Hundred Eighty-Two (382), Three Hundred Eighty- Three (383), and Three Hundred Eighty-Four (384), all in Block Number Fifteen (15) of WESTOVER ADDITION in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 59, Page 184, Hays County Deed Records; and WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to accept said property from and in cooperation with Scheib Opportunity Center, Inc. to provide Mental Health-Mental Retardation services to San Marcos and surrounding areas for as long as Scheib Opportunity Center, Inc., itself, shall continue to offer such services in accordance with local community needs and while meeting legal and professional standards, now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, THAT: Part 1. The deed of property from Scheib Opportunity Center, Inc., said deed being attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and included herein for all intents and purposes, be and is hereby accepted by the City of San Marcos, Texas. The addendum to that lease agreement between Scheib Opportunity Center, Inc. and the City of San Marcos, which lease agreement was approved by City Council Resolution dated July 10, 1978, said addendum being attached hereto as "Exhibit B" and included herein for all intents and purposes, be and is hereby approved.
