76 RESOLUTION NO. 1978-71-R I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PROPOSED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT REQUIRED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION AS A CONDITION FOR DISBURSEMENT OF GRANT FUNDS UNDER EDA PROJECT NO. 08-11-01979.40, SCHEIB MH/MR CENTER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FILE SAME IN THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS; AND ESTABLISHING EN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration has made an Offer of Grant to the City of San Marcos for the purpose of constructing a building for use as the Scheib MH/MR Center; and, WHEREAS, disbursement of funds under said grant is conditioned upon the City of San Marcos executing and filing of record an agreement to retain title to the subject project and all associated real property for the useful life of the project, and to devote such property to public use; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, Part 2. That the Property Management Agreement which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be and is hereby approved. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos be and is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of San Marcos. That the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to file said agreement in the Deed Records of the County of Hays. Part 1. I Part 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the~ day of A.D., 1978.
