• RESOLUTION NO. 2008-105R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MAYOR <br />SUSAN NARVAIZ AS THE CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE <br />TO THE CAPITAL AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING <br />ORGANIZATION TRANSPORTATION POLICY BOARD; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the United States Census Bureau announced that the City of San Marcos <br />has exceeded a population of 50,000, which entitles San Marcos to representation on the <br />Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization's Transportation Policy Board. <br />WHEREAS the City has received a letter from the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning <br />Organization stating that the City is entitled to appoint a representative to the Transportation <br />Policy Board; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby appoints Mayor <br />Susan Narvaiz as the City's representative to the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning <br />Organization Transportation Policy Board. <br />PART 2.
