• RESOLUTION 2010 -66R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL <br />CONTRACT WITH ENVIROSOLVE, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF <br />HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION, <br />TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING <br />DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />1. On September 4, 2007, the City approved an annual contract with Envirosolve, <br />Inc. for the provision of household hazardous waste collection, transportation and disposal <br />services (the "Contract "). <br />2. The original bid (IFB -27 -030) provided the City with the option to renew the <br />contract for four (4) additional one -year terms. <br />3. The Contract was extended on March 5, 2008 and again on February 3, 2009 for <br />one year. <br />• 4. Both arti g ear term as allowed <br />es aree to extend this Contract for the third one- <br />P b Y <br />under the Contract. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The third extension of the Contract with Envirosolve, Inc. for the <br />provision of household hazardous waste collection, transportation and disposal services is <br />approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Rick Menchaca, is authorized to execute appropriate <br />documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 4th day of May, 2010. <br />• <br />
