<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />-12- <br /> <br />is hereby declared in which the City shall not process <br />any new application for City permission to allow the <br />location or operation of any establishment which <br />dispenses liquor, wine, or beer for on-premise consumption <br />under permit by the State of Texas. This shall in no <br />manner alter the purpose and effect of this Ordinance <br />to immediately abandon and extinguish the old 'C-2' <br />classification and to immediately implement a new <br />'Conditional Use Permit' system effective on passage <br />of this Ordinance." <br />"Section 2;'-7. Violations of the provisions of this <br />Ordinance or failure to comply with any of its requirements <br />including violations of conditions and safeguards <br />established in connection with grants or variances <br />or special exceptions shall constitute a misdemeanor. <br />Any person who violates this Ordinance or fails to comply <br />with any of its requirements shall upon conviction thereof <br />be fined not more than two hundred dollars ($200). <br />Each day such violation continues shall be considered <br />a separate offense. The owner and/or tenant of any <br />building, structure, premises, or part thereof, and/or any <br />agent or other person who commits, participates in, <br />assists in, or maintains such violation may each be <br />found guilty of a separate offense and suffer the penalties <br />herein provided. Nothin herein contained shall prevent <br />the City from taking such other lawful action as is <br />necessary. to prevent or remedy any violation, including, <br />but not limited to, permit suspension and/or revocation; <br />and injunctive remedies." <br />"Section 2;'-7.
