I I . WHEREAS, in HAYS COUtlTY. the City of San r1arcos has requested ass i stance in recons"fruc"tTOrtM I-loore Street and Harvey St~eet from Hopkins Street to. San Antonio Street, a dIstance of approxlmately O. 1 mile; and WHEREAS, ~loore Street and Harvey Street are included in the Urban System; and HHEREAS, it is the desire of the State Department of Hight'lays and Public Transportation to assist the City of San Marcos in such work; NOW, THEREFORE, the Engineer-Director is directed to tender the following proposal to the City of San Marcos: Provided the City will: 1. Provide for the adjustment of utilities, the.construction.of continuous CUi'll and guttet", storm sewers, dnveways a~d SIde- walks, all as may be required and all ,in accordance wIth governing policies and regulations of the Department. Maintain all of the work constructed as part of the proj~ct and agree to regulate traffic, provide for parallel parkIng and prevent encroachment on the rightofway, all In accor~ dance \~ith governing pol icie~, and regulat,lons of the Depal t- menL 2.
