143. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004- 82 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING A RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON MARCH <br />22, 2004 APPOINTING PRESIDING JUDGES AND ALTERNATE JUDGES <br />FORTHE GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MAY 15, <br />2004; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos adopted a resolution on March <br />22, 2004 which appointed presiding judges and alternate judges for the general and special <br />election to be held on May 15, 2004. <br /> <br /> 2. It is necessary to amend that resolution to remove Eva Leal as the presiding <br />judge for Precinct 120/121 and to appoint Hector Mendez as the presiding judge and to <br />appoint Mary Helen Martinez as the alternate presiding judge for Precinct 120/121. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. Part 1 of the resolution adopted on March 22, 2004 which appointed <br />presiding judges and alternate judges for the general and special election to be held on <br />May 15, 2004 is amended to remove Eva Leal as the presiding judge for Precinct 120/121 <br />and to appoint Hector Mendez as the presiding judge and Mary Helen Martinez as the <br />alternate presiding judge for Precinct 120/121. <br /> <br /> PART 2. <br />passage. <br /> <br />This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 26th dayof <br /> <br />April , 2004. <br /> <br />Robert Habingreither <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Janis K.
