<br />7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1977-24-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, ESTABLISHING POLLING PLACES AND APPOINTING ELECTION <br />OFFICIALS FOR A SPECIAL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL 30, <br />1977 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING A COUNCIL MEMBER FOR PLACE 2. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Resolution ordering a Special Election be held April 30, 1977 was <br />adopted by the Council on April 4, 1977; and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary to designate polling places and appoint presiding judges <br />for said election; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That the following named locations are designated polling places for <br />the eleven city voting precincts: <br /> <br />Precinct #11 - Dunbar Center <br />Precinct #12 - Guadalupe Hall <br />Precinct #20 - Bugg Lane Fire Station <br />Precinct #30 - Crocket,Sch901, <br />Precinct #33 - Public Library <br />Precinct #34 - Holland Street Fire Station <br />Precinct #36 - First American Lutheran Church <br />Precinct #44 - Woods Homes Auditorium <br />Precinct #45 - San Marcos Department of Public Safety Building <br />Precinct #46 - Travis Elementary School; and <br />Precinct #13 - San Marcos High School Auditorium. <br /> <br />Part 2. That the following named persons are hereby appointed presiding judges <br />for the eleven city voting precincts designated: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Precinct #11 - Yancy Yarbrough <br />Precinct ft12 _ Joe Gonzales <br />Prednct ~#13 _, Rose Brooks <br />Precinct ft20 - Margie Villalpando <br />Precinct #30 - Johnnie Armstead <br />Precinct #33 - Kay Pinkerton <br />Precinct 1134 - <br />Precinct #36 _ Sara Carpenter <br />Precinct ft44 - W:i:1liam Bonsall <br />Precinct 1/45 -, Mrs. Robert Storey <br />Precinct ft46' ~ Ruth Thomas. <br /> <br />Part 3. That the above designated Pres:i:,ding Judges shall appoint the necessary <br />clerks to assist them, which shall not exceed four clerks for each precinct. <br /> <br />Part 4.
