<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />64 <br /> <br />RESOU'TION NO. 1977-34-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN M/\RCOS, TEXAS, AUl'HORIZING THE ACI'ING CITY <br />W\NAGER OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCX:lS, TO EXEOJ'l'E <br />A PElW\NENI' TRANSFER OF EXCESS FUNDS IN WE <br />l\MJUNT OF IDT K)RE THAN $100,000.00 FroM THE <br />GENERAL FUND TO WE UTILITY FUND. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Utility Fund Budget of the City is expected to experience <br />a deficit of approximately $200,000.00 by the end of the =rent fiscal year, <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said deficit is anticipated due to decreased water useage by <br />City customers, transfer of utility street rental payments fran the Utility <br />Fund to the General Fund, ani erergency expenditures for extension and <br />operation of the City water/waste water systan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the General Fund of the City is anticipated to have a surplus <br />in excess of $150,000.00 by the end of the fiscal year; ru:w, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MAOCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PARI' 1. That the Acting City Manager of the City of San Marcos, Mr-. <br />Albert Sierra, or his successor be, and is hereby, authorized to execute <br />a pennanent transfer of excess funds in the arrount of not m:>re than $100, 000 .00 <br />fran the General Fund to the utility Fund. <br /> <br />PARI' 2.
