I I I ~ 112 RESOLL~ION NO. 1977-43-R RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION THE STATE OF TEXAS s COUNTY OF HAYS s s CITY OF SAN MARCOS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, has geretofore found and determined, and hereby affirmatively finds and determines, that it is necessary and desirable for said City to construct and acquire improvements to the City's airport, and that interest bearing certificates of obligation be issued by said City for all or any part of the cost of same; and WHEREAS, this City Council wishes to proceed with authoriz- ing publication of notice of the City's intention to issue such certificates of obligation; Now, Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS: Section 1. That attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" is a form of Notice of Intention to Issue Certificates of Obliga1:ion, the form and substance of which are hereby adopted and approv(~d. Section 2. Said notice shall be pUblished once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper as defined in Chapter 84, Acts of the 43rd Legislature, First Called Session, 1933, as amended (Article 28a, V.A.T.S.) of general circulation in the City of San Marcos, Texas, the date of the first publication to be at least fourteen (14) days prior to. the date tentatively set for the passage of the ordinance authorizing the issuance of said certifi- cates of obligation.
