1- I r~:' ",.0 I 132 RESOLUTION NO. 1977-47-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY MANAGER, FINANCE DIRECTOR, CITY TREASURER AND COMMUNITY DEVELOP- MENT DIRECTOR TO JOINTLY SIGN CHECKS OR OTHER INSTRUMENTS FOR THE DISBURSEMENT OF CITY FUNDS; AND REQUIRING THE SIGNATURE OF ANY TWO OF SAID PERSONS ON ANY CHECK OR OTHER INSTRUMENT FOR DISBURSEMENT OF CITY FUNDS FOR SUCH CHECK OR INSTRUMENT TO BE VALID. WHEREAS, the Hays County National Bank has been d~ly designated as a depository of City funds, and WHEREAS , it iSI:necess ary to des ignate represent ati ves of the City, and to authorize said representatives to sign and countersign checks and other instruments utilized for the disbursement of Ci ty .funds, and WHEREAS, the most appropriate representatives for said purpose are the Mayor, City Manager, Finance Director, City Treasurer and Community Development Director. WHEREAS, the aforesaid designation of and grant of authority to said named representatives is hereby conditioned upon the requirement that two of the designated representatives must affix their signatures jointly on each si~gle check or instrument for the disbursement of City funds before such check or instrument shall be valid; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Part 1. That the following persons are hereby designated and authorized to jointly affix their signature for the purpose of disbursing City funds on behalf of the City of San Marcos: 1. Mayor--Mr. Frank T. Arredondo 2. City Manager--Mr. C.J. Webster 3. Finance Director--Mr. Earl T. Williams 4. City Treasurer--Mr. Richard S. Santellana S. Community Development Director--Mr. Albert Sierra Part 2. That no check or other instrument for the disbursement of City funds shall be valid for such purpose unless and until the signatures of at least two of the above designated persons appear jointly thereon. Part 3. That the authorization contained he~ein shall not be limited to transaction with Hays County National Bank, but shall extend to financial transactions with other persons, banks and financial institutions, not otherwise limited by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Part 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage. ADOPTED this 19th day of September, 1977.
