A single structure; nine (9) unit, prefabricated, all metal <br />painted aircrClft "NI,STEJ)" I-Hangar of approximately 206' x 52' <br />dimensions; color, forest green with cameo white trim and roof <br />as sho\m on mesco COlOT-cote exterior finish chart. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The hangar shall be designed for a minimum live load (roof) <br />of 20 psf and a minimum \Vind load of 25 psf. The structure <br />shall withstand these loadings with the hangar doprs either <br />in the op~n or closed position. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Hangar shall be erected as shown on the site plan. Contractor <br />shall prepare footing as sho\Vn and/or APPROVED ALTERNATE and <br />provide for proper anchoring of the structure. A concrete <br />grade beam suitable to support the hangar doors ctnd a minimum <br />4" thick concrete slab shall be included in the !lase !lid. <br /> <br />Hangar doors shall be double sliding doors that travel in front <br />of adjoining hangar units when open. <br /> <br />Minimum acceptable hangar door openings shall be 40' 4" \Vide <br />and 12' 2" high. <br /> <br />Partitions shall be erected enclosing each hangar unit. Par- <br />titions shall be galvanized and extend from floor to eave <br />height. <br /> <br />Two (2) standard metal walk-through doors shall be provided <br />for the end sections and shall be located at tim~ of construc- <br />tion. <br /> <br />Roof and \Vall insulation is not Tequired. <br /> <br />Electrical main box, conduit and \V'iring shall be provided for <br />one (1) light fixture (\Vi th thirty (30) minute t~mer swi tch) <br />and one (1) electrical duplex receptical to be -located in <br />each enclosed bay area. <br /> <br />Construction of a minimum 4" thick and approximately 114' ;, t,;C' <br />concrete slab to complete the concrete floor inside the proposl": <br />nine (9) unit "T" hangar will be required. Slab shall be <br />constructed of 3000 PSI concrete \Vith 6 x 6 number 10 gauge <br />mesh. All edges of the slab shall be thickened ,to 8 inches x <br />8 inches. The slab shall be constructed of eight (8} approximately <br />square uni ts separated by a 1/2" thick fiber expansion joint. <br /> <br />11. The \Vork proposed to be done shall be accepted \Vhen fully <br />completed and finished in accordance with the plans and <br />specifications to the satisfaction of the Engineer 01' Chief <br />Building Inspector of'the City. <br />
