. . , 168 ORDINANCE NO. 1977-46 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1974-48, APPROVED ON SEPTEMBER 9, 1974, AND OF RECORD IN VOLUME 44, PAGE 47, OF THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL, TO EXCLUDE A CERTAIN TRACT FROM THE SITE SET ASIDE TO THE TEXAS MUSEUM OF HISTORY, INC., FOR A MUSEUM, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council by Ordinance dated September 9, 1974, set aside a certain tract of land for use by the Texas Museum of History, Inc. as the site for a museum building; and, WHEREAS, the Texas Museum of History, Inc. has indicated that it is willing to release a portion of the tract set aside for use as a museum building site from the control it was given pursuant to Ordinance 1974-48; how, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1974-48, adopted by the City Council on September 9, 1974, be, and is hereby, amended to exclude the following tract of land from the site set aside to the Texas Museum of History, Inc. for a museum building site, to-wit: See Exhibit "A" Section 2. That this Ordinance shall become effectyve ten (10) days from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading this 17th day of October, 1977. PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading this 31st day of October, 1977.
