<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL Or THE CITY
<br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT SECTION OF
<br />CHAPTER 29 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES ENTITLED
<br />"TRAFFIC" WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 1975-14
<br />DATED MARCH 24, 1975, LOCATED IN VOL. 44, PAGE
<br />185 OF THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL, BY
<br />CHANGING THE SECTION NUMBER FOR NO ,PARKING ZONES
<br />FROM SECTION 29-120 TO SECTION 29-123 AS NOW
<br />CODIFIED; BY ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL NO PARKING
<br />ZONES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Ordinance number 1975-14, codified as Chapter 29 of the
<br />Code of Ordinances, contained a proposed Section 29-120, no parking
<br />zones, which ultimately become codified as Section 29-123; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires that a correction be made to
<br />reflect that section listing no parking zones as Section 29-123,
<br />as now codified; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate additional streets or parts
<br />of streets as areas to be officially designated by signs as no
<br />parking anytime zones; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:

<br />Section 1. That Ordinance 1975-14 adopting Chapter 29, entitled
<br />"Traffic", Article V, entitled "Traffic Control Devices", Section
<br />29-120, entitled "No Parking Anytime", be hereby amended to pro-
<br />vide that the section designated as "No Parking Anytime" be
<br />codified as Section 29-123.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That Section 29-120, codified as Section 29-123, adopted
<br />by Ordinance 1975-14, entitled "No Parking Anytime", be amended to
<br />delete the following described street from the list of no parking
<br />anytime zones:
<br />
<br />Comanche Street, West side, Woods Street to Pat Garrison Street.
<br />
<br />Section 3. ThatChapter 29, entitled "Traffic", Article V, entitled
<br />"Traffic Control Devices", Section 29-120 now codified as Section
<br />29-123, entitled "No Parking Anytime", be amended to provide for
<br />the following streets or parts of streets as additional areas to
<br />be designated as areas in which no person shall at any time pa,rk a
<br />vehicle, and that signs be erected giving notice thereof:

<br />Cheatham Street, both sides, from Guadalupe Street to Lyndon
<br />B. Johnson Drive.
<br />
<br />Smith Lane, south side from River Road to a point 100
<br />feet east.
<br />
<br />Comanche Street, east side from Woods Street to Pat
<br />
<br />Garrison.
<br />
<br />Comanche Street, west side from Woods Street to Lindsey
<br />
<br />Street.
<br />
<br />Comanche Street, west side from Woods Street to a point
<br />100 feet north.
<br />
<br />Vista Street, south side from Comanche Street to North
<br />Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
<br />
<br />Comanche Street, east side from Hopkins Street to Comal
<br />
<br />Street.
<br />
<br />Warden Lane, North side from Thorp Lane to Loop 82.
<br />
<br />Thorp Lane, both sides from S.H. 80(Hopkins) to Loop 82.
